TRANSFORMATIONAL
CEREMONIES |
| Transformational
Ceremonies offer opportunities to come together in community to engage the healing and
creative power of ritual. These ceremonies work at the spiritual, energetic level to
transform impeding patterns in our energy fields, unleash our authentic expression and
open us to the blessings of Creation. |

| ABOUT
THE CEREMONIES: |
| Sat. Feb.
4 - Imbolc Gaia Heart Rising The heartbeat of the Mother calls us to loving collaboration
with our fellow humans and all our relations, yet too often the static of culture and
conditioning muffles her message and distorts our ability to heed her call.
In this ceremony, we will welcome the luminous
support of spirit and open to the heart of Gaia. We will tune to the layers of
conditioning in our EarthStars and energy fields, which disrupt our communion with Mother
Earth and invite the healing power of love to transform these patterns in perfect harmony.
As we welcome a deeper connection with the Mother, the life-pulse of Gaia rises like sap
energizing our core, nourishing our hearts and strengthening our capacity for love.
Together we will share some simple practices for supporting our ongoing connection with
Gaia and her energy grid. |
Sun. March 25 (Spring Equinox)
Aya Despacho Ceremony: Blessing Our Past, Aligning Our FutureAt the instant of conception our soul answers the call of
incarnation. At the moment of our birth our soul seats firmly into our bodies,
committing to this journey of form and spirit. In an ideal world, we would be welcomed
joyously into this lifetime by family and friends offering love and healing to smooth the
imprints of past karma and uplift our future. Many of us were not granted this grace
at birth. Fortunately shamans know that the river of time flows both ways and our
prayers have the power to move backward and forward through time.
In this ceremony, we will come together to build an
Aya Despacho, an offering bundle traditionally created at birth and at other times of
great transition to carry our prayers for grace and harmony through all levels of
Creation. We will pray harmony into our lives and our world from our birth to the present
moment and into the unfolding future. When the despacho is completed, the bundle
will be used to scrape each participant to cleanse our energy fields. As we offer
the despacho to the sacred fire, our prayers will ripple through our history, shifting the
impact of past events on our current lives.and sweetening the time to come.
Preparation: Take some time to
imagine being present at your own birth. How would you wish to be welcomed into the world?
What prayers and blessings would you offer for yourself, others and the world at
birth? What blessings and prayers will you offer for a luminous future for yourself,
each other and the world?
What to Bring:
- a small image of yourself as an infant or child
(ideally no more than 2". We'll be burning this in the despacho so you may wish
to scan, reduce and print an image.) If you prefer you can find a small natural item (such
as a flower or seed pod) to represent yourself.
- 1-2 aromatic herbs such as white sage, yerba santa,
lavender, cloves, star anise, sweetgrass, cedar, etc. Bring 1-2 cups of each.
- 1-2 beans, nuts or legumes (any color) Bring 1-2 cups
of each.
- a cup of small candies (such as Skittles, M&M,
gum or lemon drops, etc.)

SOME GENERAL NOTES
ABOUT TRANSFORMATIONAL CEREMONIES |
Preparation
and a few simple supplies may be required for some ceremonies. Please review the
information about how to prepare, what to bring, etc. If you have questions, please
feel free to contact me to learn more about these transformational ceremonies. I
recommend registering early to allow time to reflect and prepare for each ceremony.
The ending times on these events are
approximate. When we enter ceremony, we step into sacred time and engage the
process until complete. We may end a little later or a little sooner than the
projected times. I recommend that you don't schedule other commitments for at least
a few hours after these events in order to allow time to honor and support integration of
your experience.
Spiritual and energetic transformation
is organic, unfolding over time. As the energetic shifts ripple through all the levels of
our being, change manifests within and without. Shift can be dramatic and immediate or
subtle and progressive. It is important to support your integration process through
mindfulness and energetic self care. |
